South Africa whitewashes Pakistan in test series

In the first session of the second test, South Africa scored 615 runs on the board due to the Pakistan's bowlers being unable to take wickets, a lack of genuine spinners, and Shaheen Shah Afridi being left out. When Pakistan came to bat in the first innings, they managed to put up 194 runs due to a couple of soft dismissals by the batsman.

It is worth mentioning that Saim Ayub got injured in the seventh over when Pakistan were bowling in the first innings while South Africa were batting. As reported, Sami Ayub will take six weeks to recover from injury.

Moreover, in the second innings, Pakistan were able to put up a total of just 58 runs due to South Africa deciding to make Pakistan follow on, as Pakistan were trailing by 421 runs. South Africa chased the 58 runs in the second innings and whitewashed Pakistan by 2-0 in the series.
