Punjab Government’s 2025 Laptop Scheme Focuses on Minority and Rural Students

The Punjab government has announced the Laptop Scheme 2025. This time, the plan of the government is to give laptops to deserving students only, and they also have a quota of 2000 laptops, which will be distributed to minority students. A total of 50000 laptops will be distributed to different students.

The project is called the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme. These laptops are equipped with Intel's 13th-generation processor, which will allow students to do IT projects, editing, and other computing-heavy tasks as well. Moreover, 2000 minority students of secondary higher education will receive the same laptops. 

The government of Punjab plans to distribute 20,000 laptops among university students, and college students will receive 14,000 laptops; students who are in the field of agriculture and technical will receive 4,000 laptops, and medical field students will receive 2,000 laptops. Moreover, a 32% quota will be saved for South Punjab students as well. 

The Punjab government has not provided any online application or website to apply. Therefore, the Punjab education department will gather data by themselves and will select students who deserve it to get laptops. Moreover, it is expected that students may start receiving laptops during Ramadan.
