PTA claims that slow internet speed has been fixed after adding Ad-Hoc cable.

Yesterday it was reported that there had been a cable cut issue with the submarine cable, and it would take time to recover. It was reported the fault was in the AAE1 cable near Qatar on January 2nd, 2025.

PTA said that we are committed to providing the best service, and we have added an ad hoc cable to ensure that we will provide service and 24/7 internet to our users. Moreover, now there won’t be any issues with internet speed from our side, and whoever right now is witnessing issues than contact your Internet service provider, and the issue is not from the PTA side.
