PSL 10 Draft Updates Karachi Kings picked up David Warner.

The Pakistan Super League is expected to start on April 10, 2025, and today the players draft has started, and many overseas players are included in the draft, which will make PSL 10 more interesting and entertaining. 

The players draft for the PSL session started with the Platinum Pick.

Platinum Category Round 1

Lahore Qalandars are the defending champions, and they have picked Daryl Mitchell, and he can contribute with bowling and batting. He was successful in the IPL as well, with his power of hitting down the batting order.

Karachi Kings have been struggling in the past season due to bad player selections. They picked the right person, and it is David Warner, who is one of the best hitters in cricketing history. David Warner was unsold in the recent IPL draft. 

Quetta Gladiators picked an emerging and one of the best New Zealand batsmen, Mark Chapman. He can dominate and can win matches with a dynamic batting style. 

Multan Sultan, which was having serious issues with its middle order, has picked up Michael Bracewell, which will help to strengthen the middle order of Multan Sultan.

Peshawar Zalmi chose the status quo as they were happy with the performance of Tom Kohler-Cadmore, and they decided to retain him for PSL 10. 

Islamabad United was impressed with the domestic performance of Matthew Short in Australia and picked him up to give a boost their batting strength.

Platinum Category Round 2

Quetta Gladiators used their wild card and picked the dynamic medium pace all-rounder Fahim Ashraf. He can contribute with the ball and with the bat as well. 

Karachi Kings in the second round decided to strengthen their bowling attack and selected New Zealand fast bowler Adam Milne.

Quetta Gladiators again got the chance to select in the second round, and they picked New Zealand power hitter batsman Finn Allen. 

Karachi Kings, in the second round, decided to upgrade their bowling lineup, and they picked up Abbas Afridi.

Diamond Category

Karachi Kings decided to pick an all-rounder, Khushdil Shah. He is all-rounder spinner and can hit big with his batting. 

Peshawar Zamli surprised everyone by picking up young and emerging South African fast pace bowler Corbin Bosch.

Islamabad United decided to pick the West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder. He is a match winner with both bat and ball. 

Lahore Qaladars picked up Sri Lankan Kusal Perera, and he is a wicketkeeper and dynamic-hitting batsman.

Peshawar Zalmi picked up Muhammad Ali, who is a medium-fast bowler and played for the national team as well. 

Gold Category 

Peshawar Zamli, in the gold category, decided to pick up a local batsman, Abdul Samad, to strengthen their bench and batting lineup.

Multan Sultans, in the gold category, decided to pick national cricket team fast bowler Muhammad Hasnain.

Islamabad United, in the gold category, decided to pick up Ben Dwarshuis, who is an Australian fast bowler and handy with the bat as well. 

Karachi Kings, in the gold category, decided to pick Aamir Jamal, and he is a local all-rounder and can be very handy down in the batting order. 

Multan Sultans in the told category decided to pick Kamran Ghulam as he is a dynamic batsman who can take away the game from the opposition. 

Peshawar Zalmi, in the gold category, decided to sign Nahid Rana, who is a Bangladeshi fast bowler and can be lethal.

Peshawar Zalmi decided to pick all-rounder Hussian Talat, who has played for the national team as well.

Multan Sultans picked up Akif Javed for the silver category.
