PCB Advertise for New Head Coach and Sacks Aaqib Javed

Aaqib Javed was going to be sacked by PCB, and it was expected because of the performance in the ICC Champions Trophy and New Zealand series. It was on the cards that the PCB was going to take out the plug and fire Aaqib Javed as head coach because the PCB gave some more authority to Aaqib Javed, which they did not to other recent foreign coaches; however, it did not work at all, and in fact, the Pakistan team's performance got more downgraded rather than upgraded. Many experts and journalists say that Pakistani coaches do not work with Pakistan's national cricket team because our players and ex-players have ego issues.

Moreover, even Mohammad Rizwan in the PSL pre-match conference said indirectly that the issue is well known to the PCB and the management. Mohammad Rizwan again said the same when Pakistan was whitewashed by New Zealand in a 3-ODI series, and Mohammad Rizwan said the same thing: that we need to be professional with our approach and need to have some sense. However, since then, Aaqib Javed has been very quiet, and he has not been giving any statements. In fact, he did not attend the post-match conference in 3 ODI series either. Additionally, it shows that Aaqib Javed was told beforehand that he would be fired after the New Zealand series.

Additionally, PCB is now looking for a long-term coach who can help PCB enhance the talent of players, and they can easily compete at the level of international cricket. It is hoped that the Pakistan Cricket Board will find its most suitable candidate for Pakistan's cricket team head coach.
