Pakistanis Can Now Apply For 5 Years Visa for UAE
The UAE envoy assured that the issue that Pakistan was facing regarding the UAE visa for 5 years has been resolved. Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, who is the UAE ambassador to Pakistan, stated that the issue regarding Pakistan availing a 5-year visa to visit the UAE has been resolved, and now Pakistani citizens can apply for the 5-year visa for the UAE. This important development came into the spotlight during the meeting between Governor Sindh and the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, and the issues were highlighted, and the Ambassador assured that the issue has been resolved for Pakistan.
It was reported that Pakistan could not apply for a UAE 5-year visa when it was first announced, and many people had issues availing it; however, now after the meeting of Governor Sindh and UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, he assured that now Pakistan can apply for 5 years of the UAE without any hassle or hiccups. People who will avail themselves of 5 years for the UAE would be traveling there multiple times, and they do not need to apply for a UAE visa every time, like normally, people have to apply for a visa for the UAE, which is normally given for a 30-day visit limit; however, now people can avail themselves of a 5-year visit to the UAE.
Last year, many Pakistani citizens faced many issues getting a UAE visit visa, and even some people with valid documents and status were rejected the visa. The issue was highlighted by the Senate panel last year, and the government replied that Pakistanis are having issues regarding UAE visas due to illegal activities related to issues that involve begging and harassment by Pakistanis on UAE beaches. Moreover, the UAE rejected the claim that Pakistan was facing a UAE visa ban. However, the UAE is very strict with the documents regarding Pakistan applying for the visa, and there was a 90% chance that most of the people who were applying for a UAE visa would be rejected.
Moreover, it is important to mention that the UAE has banned any kind of political activities in the UAE. However, some Pakistanis protested in the UAE, and also there were some social media influencers who were complained about by UAE authorities to Pakistan, which is one of the reasons why Pakistan has to go through tough UAE scrutiny.
Additionally, to get a visa for the UAE, a Pakistani citizen must have a police NOC, and they have to deposit 3000 AED, which will be refunded.
