Pakistan's batting collapsed against South Africa in the 2nd Test, 2025.
South Africa decided to follow on and make Pakistan bat first in the second innings. South Africa scored 614 runs in their first innings and put a large score on the board as they have already qualified for the ICC World Test Championship 2025 Final. Moreover, Pakistan failed to achieve the target and got all out on 194. Neither bowler provided a good performance, and neither did the Pakistan team do good fielding and dropped several catches in the first innings. While batting, Pakistan's couple of batsmen got out by playing loose shots.
In the second innings, Pakistan scored 80 runs without losing any wickets. Babar Azam scored 34, and Shan Masood scored 37, but still Pakistan trails by 341 runs, and still 2 days of play are left. Moreover, it is important to mention that Pakistan are playing without Saim Ayub because he got injured, and Pakistan is currently playing with only 10 players and a subfielder.
