OmniHuman-1 creates an AI video with just one picture.

China's tech and engineers have given another shock and surprise to US tech giants by ByteDance, which owns TikTok, created OmniHuman-1, which competes with the likes of deepfake AI services and apps, and it is more affordable than US-based AI services. It is safe to say that at the current pace and surprises given by China, it can easily take the AI crown from the US, and it would not be the first time China has won from the US, as China is the main supplier and exporter of US electronic consumer goods. This is being considered a bigger surprise than the DeepSeek reveal.

OmniHuman-1 AI is more advanced than Deepfake, where Deepfake can only change the picture of the face by using its AI; however, OmniHuman-1 is able to move the body with just one picture, and it can also generate AI audio as well; by just using one voice of audio, it can create AI audio of it. 

It demonstrates that not only can China make cost-effective AI services and products, but they can make them better than US AI giants. DeepSeek R1 was a direct competitor of ChatGPT; now OmniHuman-1 is more advanced than Deepfake.
