Nvidia Reveals RTX 5xxx gen series.
In today CES event 2025, Nvidia Lan party event Nvidia announced their next generation RTX 5xxx series.
Nvidia launched their series lineup RTX 5070 with 12GB VRAM. Nvidia promised that it will be faster than the RTX 4090 (this claim is certainly for AI + new DLSS features enabled; otherwise, in raw performance, of course, the RTX 4090 is much faster). In raw performance, it is 25% to 30% faster than the RTX 4070, and it is priced at USD 549.
The RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB VRAM, priced at USD 749, will sit in the middle, and it seems like it will be faster than the RTX 4080 Super in raw performance, and it is going to be more than 2X faster than the RTX 4070 Ti.
The RTX 5080 16 GB Vram is going to be the high-end GPU of Nvidia, which is going to be at least 30% faster than the RTX 4080 Super in raw performance and, with DLSS enabled, it is going to be more than 2X performance with a price tag of USD 999.
Nvidia revealed their best card as well, the RTX 5090, with a massive 32 GB VRAM price along with a massive price tag of USD 1999, and it promises to be faster than the RTX 4090, up to 3X, while it is only if DLSS is on, and, in terms of raw performance, it is 35% to 40% faster.
All Nvidia RTX 5xxx GPU will be equipped with GDDR7, which is at least 20% more bandwidth speed than GDDR6X.
The RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 will be launched on January 30th, 2025, and the RTX 5070 TI and RTX 5070 will be launched in February 2025.
