NAB Investigates Malik Riaz for Fraud, Money Laundering, and Illegal Land Occupation.
NAB has taken its gloves off against Malik Riaz and come out in full swing against his project, Bahria Town Dubai. The government and NAB have been investigating Malik Riaz's corruption in the past, since the Supreme Court took notice that Bahria Town illegally occupied land in Karachi, and the SC put hefty fines on Malik Raiz.

Last week, the Accountability Court issued a judgment against Imran Khan and his wife by sentencing them to 14 years and 7 years due to their corruption, manipulating facts about 190 million pounds which was held by NCA UK, and facilitating Malik Riaz's corruption. In the judgment, the judge considered both Imran Khan and his wife a right hand of Malik Raiz, and PTI is going to challenge the decision soon in high court.
Yesterday, Nab issued a warning letter to Malik Riaz, to those residents who are thinking of investing in Bahira Town, Dubai, and officially stated Malik Riaz is doing illegal activities in Pakistan. NAB stated that Malik Riaz illegally acquired land in Karachi, Rawalpindi, New Murree, and Takht Pari, and they claimed that it was property of the state and that some part of it was private.
NAB also warned that whoever in Pakistan will invest in Bahria Town Dubai will be charged under Money Laundering Case Act 2010, and its minimum sentence is five years.
