Internet speeds are down again due to a submarine cable fault.

PTA issued a statement that people may have issues with internet browsing, streaming, uploading, and downloading due to an international submarine outage today. They said that they are working to resolve the issue at the earliest, and they also apologized for any inconvenience caused by it.

Internet issues seem like routine issues for Pakistanis now, just like electricity load shedding and gas load shedding, and now people witness Internet load shedding at least 2 or 3 times a month, which has made Pakistan's Internet ranking one of the worst rankings in the world. As we reported, Pakistan faced a loss of US 350 million dollars in revenue due to internet shutdowns and outages.

Moreover, PTCL has issued a notification that you may witness issues with slow browsers due to a submarine cable, AAE-1, near Qatar. They also said that we are working to resolve the issue.
