Honhaar Scholarship Scheme expansion approved by CM Punjab

CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz on the 6th of February approved the expansion of the Honhaar Scholarship Scheme to other regions in Pakistan. CM Punjab stated the Honhaar Scholarship Scheme will be expanded to other provinces for students; therefore, every deserving student can benefit from it.

CM Punjab stated our real asset is the youth of this country. CM Punjab said that every successful nation has invested in youth and uplifted them, and it is their main reason for their success, and we will focus on uplifting and investing in our youth so that they can contribute to Pakistan's success.

CM Punjab stated that the criteria for qualification and eligibility for the Honhaar Scholarship Scheme will be the same as Punjab's for the other provinces. CM Punjab gave her approval to expand the program during the meeting.

CM Punjab increased the number of laptops further to 110,000 for students of Punjab. First, it was reported that CM Punjab's intention was to approve 50,000 laptops for Punjab students, and now the good news for Punjab students is that CM Punjab has approved more than double, and now many students can avail this opportunity. Moreover, CM Punjab set the criteria that the minimum grades of students should be 65% to qualify for it.

It is reported by Geo News that CM Punjab has given formal approval regarding the laptop scheme for students who are currently doing second, third, and fourth semesters. Additionally, CM Punjab has directed to launch a helpline for students as well for the laptop scheme.

Moreover, CM Punjab stated during the meeting that every student should be promoted, and it is the student's right to get laptops, and it is the responsibility of the government to uplift the students. 

CM Punjab said that "education and youth development are the real investments for the uplift of a nation, and I want to see every child getting a laptop. Laptops and Honhaar scholarships are the right of students from other provinces as well."

CM Punjab said that' other provinces' students are our children. She encourages every deserving student to avail  this opportunity and uplift themselves.
