Emergency Search Underway After PSA Flight and Black Hawk Helicopter Crash

The devastating and sad news came from the US that a passenger jet named PSA Flight 5342 came into collision with a US military Black Hawk helicopter during midair. This incident is reported to have occurred near Washington Airport on the night of January 29th US time. 

 

It was reported that at least 18 people have lost their lives and 60 people are reportedly injured, including the four crew members of the jet, who were also injured. It is reported that three US soldiers were also aboard the helicopter. A US official has launched an emergency search and rescue operation to look for survivors. It is reported that the Passenger Jet had around 64 people jet aboard, and it collided with the Army's Black Hawk. 

 

Washington Airport has suspended all their operations temporarily, and their focus is to investigate the incident. The USA media reports that there are around 300 responders currently working.
